Yes, I'm posting this in the public journal. Tough shit if you don't like it.
I can't stand when people can't admit that they've changed.
I can't stand being talked down to.
I can't stand having things thrown in my face.
I can't stand when people seem to think they know everything.
I can't stand being bitched at when I speak my mind.
I can't stand people saying that I'm being harsh when I tell the truth. Deal with it, the truth hurts.
I can't stand "yes-men" who blindly agree with what other people say/do/think.
AND I can't stand when someone says that they don't think they have any right to say anything yet go on to give their opinion. If you don't think you have any right to say something, then keep your damn mouth shut.
Amber, you know I disagree with you getting married this young. I've told you this. I've told you WHY I disagree. But there was one thing that you said in your reply to my comment in your LJ that just really pissed me off. You said that I know what it's like to be away from someone I loved.
Well, let me tell you something. You have NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT IT'S LIKE. Don't you DARE presume to tell me anything about that, because you have no idea. Before you moved in with him, you and Peter were only an hour and a half apart. 90 miles. Try 4000 miles. A 8 hour plane trip. Being able to only see each other 2-3 times a year. THEN you can say something. But until then, just shut up. You do NOT know everything there is about relationships. And you know what, I'd daresay I know a lot more than you do. For one thing, I know that rushing into things is not a good idea. I know that sometimes you need to take it slowly. I know that things sometimes need to wait until both people are ready. So don't you DARE talk down to me or ANYTHING like that.
